Q&A For In Game Topics.

Guild Membership Requirements

1. All levels and classes are welcome.

2. You start in the guild as a RECRUIT. Limited access to Guild Hall amenities, no access to items requiring guild level or status for purchase.

3. You obtain full membership by the following:

A. After a period of one week and a contribution of 5,000 guild status points. The guild status points are earned from doing Writs (city and tradeskill), Heritage Quests, and for higher level toons from status items that drop from mobs.

B. The time period can be reduced by a contribution of 10,000 personal status points deposited at the door of the guild hall, for each donation the period is reduced by 1 day. The maximum reduction is 4 days, meaning you have to wait at least 3 days. This is done to keep people from joining for the purpose of buying houses and mounts using the guild level privileges, then leaving the guild.

4. Promotion to higher levels is done by a vote of the officers. Based on the amount of guild participation and willingness to help the guild.

(Note)

If you have multiple toons in the guild then you need to choose 1 to be your main and mark it in the notes in the guild window under your name. Your main is the one that needs to be the one that has the 5,000 gsp and making donations to shorten the time it takes to become a full member with the ability to use all of the amenities in the guild hall. Once your main becomes a member then all of your alts in the guild will be promoted to alt-member and have all the abilities of your main in the guild hall.

Obtaining Items From The Guild Bank

If you need an item from the guild bank, ask an officer, assistant guild leader or the guild leader. You need to be of Member rank or higher. The item in question needs to be used on the character you ask with. You will be asked what the item will be used for. Please answer or you may not get the item. Don't ask for items if you intend to sell them on the broker or they won't benefit your character.

Raid Etiquette

Some simple rules to follow when raiding to make a more enjoyable experience for all.

1. This is a game. We are here to have fun. Relax and enjoy, do not stress and avoid the drama. Not everyone is as experienced as you think you are, so give them a break. Help each other and we will all have more fun in the process.

2. Be on time.
People have busy schedule’s and real life is always getting in the way. But respect others and have the courtesy to be on time. Many people only have a limited amount of time to play, it is therefore important to start on time.

3. Listen. The raid leader should be the primary person doing all the speaking and chatting. Use private tells to speak to other players. This will speed up the process of setting up the mobs, explaining the strategies and distributing the loot. Very hard to hear important information if everyone is talking at the same time. Raid leaders take note of those who may not be in Voice Chat and arrange for someone to send text messages.

4. Be prepared. Mend before coming. Bring Food, Drink, Arrows, Poison, Totems, Potions, Repair Kits… ect. Also good idea if your thirsty or hungry to get something before the raid starts. There will be opportunities for breaks during the raid, but the fewer the breaks the sooner we finish.

5. Loot. Pay attention, only roll (/ran 100) on items appropriate for the toon you are playing. If no one needs the loot the raid leader will allow others to roll for alts or cash. The faster the loot is distributed the faster we move to the next mob and something you may need. Ask the raid leader before the raid starts how loot will be distributed (ie. Need-Before-Greed, Round Robin, … ect.) This will avoid a lot of drama. Raid leaders remember to set loot options. This will prevent accidental looting.

6. Dying. It happens, Raid wipes happen do not stress over it, learn from your mistakes and move on. Listen for instructions before reviving. Some zones will lock you out of the encounter if you revive during combat. Wait for a healer to revive you or instructions from the raid leader if it is safe to revive and run back. Raid leaders give instructions before the pull, please. Watch your gear, if you die a lot (rangers this is you) your gear will break and be useless, remember to repair, if you are at 20%, ask the raid leader if there is a repair bot available(you are probably not the only one).

7. Targeting. The raid leader will tell you how to target the mobs. Most times through the tank or a Main Assist(MA). Easiest to make a macro or two before the start of the raid (/target <tanks name>). If you target the wrong mob, you will pull agro and possibly wipe the raid.

8. Cures. Try to remember the healers are busy keeping the tank alive, if you see a dot on you, try to cure it yourself. You will live longer.
